Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Thinking of You!

Welcome to our May Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe! Our theme this month is Thinking of You, for the men in your life. You may have arrived from Tracy’s blog. She had a fabulous project! I chose the Rooted in Nature stamp set (#148217) and paper from 2 different Designer Series Papers. They are Bird Ballad (#149592) and Pressed Petals (#149500), both from the Annual Catalog

The card base is Mossy Meadow. I pieced the 4 pieces of DSP on the front of the card and then used two circle dies for the Very Vanilla sentiment and Old Olive layered pieces. I will reveal the dimensions of the paper pieces after an upcoming Mystery Stamping free online event. The sentiment is stamped in Mossy Meadow and the leaves are stamped off in Pear Pizazz. A piece of Linen Thread (#104199) behind the circles completes the card.

The insert inside the card has a column of leaves stamped in Pear Pizazz!

Great design! I love how you picked up the leaves in the front DSP panel and carried them to the sentiment piece on the front and the inside. Nicely done! Thanks for sharing!
