Monday Mystery Stamping – 11/14

Here are the cards we made Monday night during our Mystery Stamping Zoom. We started with a half sheet of card stock, 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″. On the front panel, at the bottom, make a mark 1-1/4″ in from the fold. Score from that mark at the bottom edge to the top right corner of the card front. Fold it back toward the card fold. Add the 4″ square of cardstock and the 3-3/4″ square for your stamping to the front. Add the 1″ strip of vertical DSP on the front. Open the card, add the colored cardstock 4 x 5-1/4″ and the white or vanilla 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece. NOTE: your design and greeting inside is vertical!! Add the other piece of horizontal DSP above the center fold and tie a piece of twine twice around the card over the DSP.

If you would like to join us, please contact me and provide an email address. I will send out the Mystery Stamping Clues ahead of time with the Zoom invitation. We meet at 7:30 Central Time for about 40 minutes.

Stampin Stray Ducklings – Bundle time!

Welcome to our November Blog Waddle! We are featuring July-December Mini-Catalog bundles on our projects this month!! You may have arrived here from Lori Helvick’s blog.  Following me is Nancy Legate’s blog.

I picked the Sweet Candy Canes Bundle (#161052) for my card. The card base is Basic White with two layers of the lovely background stripe dies from the Candy Canes Dies (#159569). One is flipped over so the dies criss-cross. and the candy canes were die cut from the Sweetest Christmas DSP, which is unavailable at the moment. The holly leaves and pink sprig from the Christmas Season stamp set (#156293) were stamped in Garden Green and Polished Pink and cut out with the Seasonal Label Dies (#156299). The sprig from the Sweet Candy Canes cling stamp set (#159560) was stamped in Pool Party. The sentiment is from Christmas To Remember (#156300) stamped in Real Red and die cut with the Tailor Made Tags Dies (#155563). I finished my card with Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#146924) and Real Red 3/8″ Mini Ruffled Ribbon (#156323).

I have pictures below of the full sheet I stamped and then the 4 cards created from it. When I get the cards finished, I will post those.
