Paper Crafting Blog Hop – DSP

Welcome to our August Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator is featuring projects created with our wonderful Designer Series Paper (DSP)!

You may have arrived here from Shirley’s blog. She had a great project! My card features the fun Design a Daydream 12 x 12 Host Designer Series Paper found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. There are so many fun patterns in this big assortment of DSP!

The card base is Balmy Blue with three strips of DSP in varying widths. Then a piece of Basic White is added at an angle. The candles are die cut in Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Blackberry Bliss, Petal Pink, and Balmy Blue using the Sentiment Silhouettes Dies (#158733). The flames and stars die cut in Crushed Curry. A fourth piece of DSP was used to stamp the sentiment on, in Basic Black using the Charming Sentiments photopolymer stamp set (#159985). The stamps and dies are available at a 10% discount in the Charming Sentiments Bundle (#158734)!

Sale-A-Bration ends the end of August, so look through the annual and mini catalogs and order what you must have and earn free products! Order a total of $150 and purchase the Design a Dream DSP with your host dollars!

Stampin Stray Ducklings – Die Cuts!

Welcome to our August Blog Waddle! We are featuring projects with die cuts!! You may have arrived here from Lori Helvick’s blog.  Following me is Nancy Legate’s blog.

I picked the Summer Shadow Dies (#156618) to feature because of the lovely flower shapes. I love the new In-Colors Starry Sky and Orchid Oasis so I used those for my flower colors. I paired Shaded Spruce and Mint Macaron for the leaves! A polka-dot In-Color piece of Orchid Oasis DSP backs the flowers on a Basic White panel cut with the largest die from the Scalloped Contours Dies (#155560). The card base is Starry Sky. The sentiment from Go To Greetings (#158763) is stamped in Starry Sky.

I hold stamping buffets each month and this card is one of 12 you can make in August. Contact me to attend!

Here is another card featuring die cuts. It was created with the Fond of Autumn Bundle (#159838) from the July-December 2022 Mini-Catalog. I love the die cut in the card base under the popped up die cut.
