Stampin Stray Ducklings April Blog Waddle!

Welcome to our monthly Blog Waddle! This month our projects feature retiring annual catalog products! You may have arrived here from Debbie Widener’s blog.  Following me is Kim Baker’s blog.

I picked the Pierced Blooms Dies (#154312)-now only $18.50, as I love to garden and still can’t play in the dirt. I picked the colors, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride, Fresh Freesia, and Gorgeous Grape for the flowers and Granny Apple Green for the leaves. The dark flower centers are either Basic Black or Soft Suede. Fresh Freesia is a retiring In-Color. I started with a Flirty Flamingo card base and a layer of Basic White run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (#149653) in the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder (#152718)-only $7.20. The sentiment is from the In Bloom stamp set, which appears to be no longer available.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop

Welcome to our March Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator is featuring critters of all kinds!

You may have arrived here from Shirley’s blog. My card features the Ladybug Builder Punch(#157698) to create a bumblebee. This punch is a part of the Hello Ladybug Bundle(#157699).

The card base is Basic Black (11″ x 5-1/2″) with 2 pieces of the Hand-Penned DSP on it. The Hammered Metal (3D) Embossing Folder (#150646) gave the Daffodil Delight card stock a texture to resemble a honeycomb. The bumblebee was created with a Basic Black body and a layer of Daffodil Delight which was cut into stripes and vellum wings! The sentiment is from Pansy Patch.

Here is a picture of the card expanded showing the fun-fold and another little bumblebee!
