Stampin Stray Ducklings January Blog Waddle!

Happy New Year! Welcome to our monthly Blog Waddle! This month our projects feature products from the Sale-A-Bration flyer. You may have arrived here from Lori Helvick’s blog.  Following me is Kim Baker’s blog.

I picked the Friendly Hello stamp set and the Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper (DSP) which comes together in the Friendly Hello Bundle, free with a $100 order. I started with a Fresh Fresia card base and added a layer of Basic White with strips of the DSP. A Granny Apple Green scalloped circle backs a Basic White circle on which I stamped the bird for one card and flowers for my second card. The sentiment is also included in the Friendly Hello stamp set and stamped in Fresh Fresia. Stampin’ Write Markers were used to color the bird and flowers.

Check out the Annual Catalog and the fantastic new Mini-Catalog to make your qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration!

Stampin Stray Ducklings December Blog Waddle!

Welcome to our monthly Blog Waddle! This month our projects feature products from the Annual Catalog. You may have arrived here from Lori Helvick’s blog.  Following me is Kim Baker’s blog.

I love to take a stamp set that is not featured as a Christmas stamp set and create a Christmas card with it. I decided to make this card a birthday card as I have several friends and family with January birthdays! The Beauty of Friendship photopolymer stamp set (#154983) which comes in the Beauty of Friendship Bundle (#155834) was my inspiration. I started with a Balmy Blue card base and added a layer of Basic White cut with a die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies (#151820) On the Basic White layer I stamped the two tree stamps in Evening Evergreen and Mint Macaron. The sentiment is from Pansy Patch (#154999) and stamped in Balmy Blue. The bow is Balmy Blue retired ribbon.

I also used the Inspiring Canopy Dies (#155963) as the main feature on another card. The card base and trees are Basic White. The blue patterned paper is from the Beauty of the Earth 12 x 12 DSP (Designer Series Paper) (#155841) and backed with a piece of Night of Navy. The cardinal came from the Beautiful Trees Dies (#155840). The sentiment from Christmas to Remember (#156300) is stamped in Night of Navy.

Be sure to look through the Annual catalog and find the stamp sets you may have missed your first 20 times looking through the catalog!
