Here are our finished cards we made Monday night during our Mystery Stamping Zoom. There are SO many wonderful possibilities with this fairly easy card! It is called a Chevron Fold card. This card uses 5 small pieces of DSP, showing both sides of the paper. So many beautiful Designer Series Papers! Use up your stash!
Here is a picture of the way to fold your pieces of DSP. 3 go in one direction, the other 2 fold in the opposite direction.
If you would like to join us for laughs and card making, please contact me and provide an email address. I will send out the Mystery Stamping Clues ahead of time with the Zoom invitation. We meet at 7:30 Central Time for about 40 minutes.
Welcome to our monthly Blog Waddle! This month we are featuring projects from the July-December Mini-Catalog or the Sale-A-Bration flyer. You may have arrived here from Lori Helvick’s blog. Following me is Kim Baker’s blog. Let us know what you think of these beautiful cards!
I was instantly attracted to the Nature’s Harvest Bundle (#156813)! It contains the Nature’s Harvest cling stamp set (#156495) and the coordinating Harvest Dies (#156504). Purchasing the bundle entitles you to a free item from the Sale-A-Bration flyer through the end of September!
I used an Early Espresso card base with a layer of Harvest Meadow 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (#156494). The tags were die cut in Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake with a die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies (#155563). The top tag was topped with a die cut piece in Very Vanilla and tied together with a bit of Linen Thread (#104199). I also cut the wild flowers in early Espresso and tucked them behind the tags.
The flowers are stamped in Early Espresso and then colored with Watercolor Pencils (#141709) and Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2 (#149014). A touch of a Blender Pen (#102845) created the very soft look. Then the flowers were die cut. The sentiment from Pansy Patch (#154999) was stamped in Cajun Craze on Very Vanilla. A gold bumblebee from the Bumblebee Trinkets (#155568) is the final touch for my card. What do you think?
Please join us on the 10th of September for another great Stampin Stray Ducklings’ Blog Waddle!
