Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Designer Series Paper!

Welcome to our July Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator is featuring projects using our fabulous Designer Series Paper, DSP for short!

You may have arrived here from Annette’s blog. She had a wonderful project! I chose the Expressions in Ink – Speciality DSP (#155464) for my birthday card. It is a part of the Expressions In Ink Suite Collection (#155459). I used the Artistically Inked (#154542) stamp set and the coordinating set of Artistic Dies (#155371). The card base is Granny Apple Green. The DSP is 4″ x 4″ and the strip on the left is 1″ x 4″. The flowers was stamped in Pale Papaya on Basic White and die cut. The card was finished with Pale Papaya Ribbon and sequins from the Expressions In Ink Ephemera Pack (#155465).

Stampin Stray Ducklings Summer Fun Blog Waddle!

Welcome to our monthly Blog Waddle! This month we are featuring summer projects. You may have arrived here from Lori Helvick’s blog.  Following me is Kim Baker’s blog. Let us know what you think of these fun, summer cards!

I love the Color & Contour stamp set (#154994) and the Scalloped Contours Dies (#155560). These are available as a bundle (#158356), too! I started with a Bermuda Bay card base with a layer of Basic White. The flowers are stamped randomly in Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, and Daffodil Delight. I stamped an extra flower on a scrap and die cut it. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark (#102283) on a scrap of Bermuda Bay and heat embossed it with white embossing powder (#155554). I added a bow of white Bakers Twine (#155475) on the corner after die cutting the sentiment.

I love summer flowers, so I am sharing another flower card! This card is a simple Basic White card base with a strip of Pattern Party DSP down the left side. This wonderful DSP is available as to purchase with your Host Rewards when you host a qualifying party of $150 or more. The flowers from the Flowers of Friendship (#155358) are stamped in Polished Pink, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, and the leaves in Granny Apple Green. They are punched out with the Flowers & Leaves Punch (#155373). I used the Scalloped Contours Dies (#155560) to punch out the sentiment, from Pansy Patch (#154999), and adhered it to a piece of Pool Party cardstock. I added some reitred sequins after coloring the centers of the flowers in Basic Black.

Monday Mystery Stamping – 7/5

Here are our finished cards from Monday night during our Mystery Stamping Zoom. There are SO many wonderful possibilities with this fairly easy card! Be sure your pattern runs vertically on the 4-1/4″ side. If you don’t like the reverse of your DSP, pick another complimentary piece of DSP. So many beautiful Designer Series Papers! Use up your stash!

Below are pictures showing how your cut pieces look for the horizontal card, an all DSP card, and a vertical card. For the horizontal card, start with two 4-1/4″ x 11″ cardstock bases, both sored at 5-1/2″.

Fold the 2 base pieces. You will not be using the triangles, but they could become mats for another criss-cross card.

Your cut piece of DSP.

This is two 4″ x 11″ pieces of DSP. Scored and cut just like the card stock.

Below is the vertical version using two 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ bases and a vertically cut piece of DSP.

If you would like to join us for laughs and card making, please contact me and provide an email address. I will send out the Mystery Stamping Clues ahead of time with the Zoom invitation. We meet at 7:30 Central Time for about 40 minutes.
