Stamping Stray Ducklings – Fun Fold!

Welcome to our May Blog Waddle! We are featuring Fun-Fold cards!!

I picked the Beautiful Balloons Photopolymer stamp set (#161450) for my project. The card base is the returning Lemon Lime Twist and a layer of the new Azure Afternoon is under the Bright & Beautiful DSP (#161449). The balloons were stamped in Lemon Lime Twist, Azure Afternoon, and Berry Burst. To see how the Fun Fold is created, check out my Mystery Stamping post from May 1st!

Stamping Stray Ducklings – Mini-Catalog Favorites!

Welcome to our April Blog Waddle! We are featuring cards from the Mini-Catalog this month!!

I picked the Two-Tone Flora bundle (#160414) for my project. It is such a beautiful bundle! The card base is Basic White with a Basic White layer die cut with the stunning background die from the Two-Tone Flora Dies (#159181). The flowers were stamped in Polished Pink, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Fresh Freshia, and Flirty Flamingo. The larger stamp images were stamped off and the smaller detail stamps were fully inked. The leaves were stamped in Garden green. The sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set (#154999) was stamped in Polished Pink. Three pearls from the 2021-2023 In-Color Opal Rounds (#159185) completed my card!

Stamping Stray Ducklings – Annual Catalog Favorites!

Welcome to our March Blog Waddle! We are featuring cards from the Annual Catalog this month!!

I picked the Pansy Patch bundle (#155674) for my project. It is such a sweet bundle! The card base is Highland Heather with a Basic White layer. The Soft Succulent In-Color DSP (#159254) is cut with the largest retired Seasonal Layers Die adhered to the layer. The pansy and flowers were die cut with the Pansy Dies (#155680) in Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heater, Soft Succlent, Evening Evergreen, Basic White and Daffodil Delight, and then pieced together. The die is hole-punched and a piece of Soft Succulent Ribbon (#155780) is tied with a piece of White Baker’s Twine (#155475). The sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set (#154999) was stamped in Highland Heather. Three pearls from the Pastel Pearls (#154571) completed my card!

Stampin Stray Ducklings – Mini-Catalog!

Welcome to our first Blog Waddle of 2023! We are featuring cards from products in the Sale-A-Bration flyer this month!! You may have arrived here from Lori Helvick’s blog.  Following me is Nancy Legate’s blog.

I picked the Dainty Flowers 12×12 DSP (#160834) for my project. This DSP is SO pretty and has so many unique elements to it! The card base is Mossy Meadow with a Blushing Bride layer. The DSP is cut into 1″ strips and adhered to the layer. I piece of Orchid Oasis Metallic ribbon (#159199) is tied around the right-most panel. The sentiment from the Something Fancy stamp set (#160416) was stamped in Mossy Meadow. Easy and elegant!

Stampin Stray Ducklings – Merry Christmas!

Welcome to our December Blog Waddle! We are featuring holiday cards this month!! You may have arrived here from Lori Helvick’s blog.  Following me is Nancy Legate’s blog.

I picked the Christmas Pinecone Dies (#156309) for my card. The card base is Bermuda Bay with the gorgeous pines die cut in Basic White. The solid pinecones were die cut from the Silver Foil Specialty Pack (#156457) and placed under the pinecone cutouts. A scalloped circle was die cut from the Silver Foil using the Layering Circles Dies (#151770). The sentiment is from Framed & Festive (#160888) stamped in Bermuda Bay on Basic White and die cut with a circle die from the Layering Circles Dies. I finished my card with Glittered Organdy Ribbon (#156408) under the sentiment and Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220).

Stampin Stray Ducklings – Bundle time!

I picked the Sweet Candy Canes Bundle (#161052) for my card. The card base is Basic White with two layers of the lovely background stripe dies from the Candy Canes Dies (#159569). One is flipped over so the dies criss-cross. and the candy canes were die cut from the Sweetest Christmas DSP, which is unavailable at the moment. The holly leaves and pink sprig from the Christmas Season stamp set (#156293) were stamped in Garden Green and Polished Pink and cut out with the Seasonal Label Dies (#156299). The sprig from the Sweet Candy Canes cling stamp set (#159560) was stamped in Pool Party. The sentiment is from Christmas To Remember (#156300) stamped in Real Red and die cut with the Tailor Made Tags Dies (#155563). I finished my card with Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#146924) and Real Red 3/8″ Mini Ruffled Ribbon (#156323).

Stampin Stray Ducklings – Fall is Here!

Welcome to our October Blog Waddle! We are featuring Autumn on our projects this month!! You may have arrived here from Lori Helvick’s blog.  Following me is Nancy Legate’s blog.

I picked the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder along with the Leaf Label & Amber Gem Combo Pack to feature on this Autumn card. The card base is Very Vanilla with another layer of Very Vanilla which was embossed with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder (#159847). I also embossed the envelope flap, giving a hint of what is inside! The leaf is from the Label & Amber Gem Combo Pack (#159969). Under the leaf, I added two pieces of Designer Series Paper, one from the Rustic Harvest DSP, the other from He’s The Man DSP (#159068) and some Linen Thread (#104199). Tucked the sentiment from Go To Greetings (#158763), stamped in Soft Suede, under the leaf and added some gems. Quick and easy card!

Stampin Stray Ducklings – Embossing Folders!

Welcome to our September Blog Waddle! We are featuring projects using embossing folders!! You may have arrived here from Lori Helvick’s blog.  Following me is Nancy Legate’s blog.

I picked the Lighthouse Point Bundle (#158907) to feature because I love lighthouses. They are America’s castles. The card base is Pacific Point with a layer of Balmy Blue which was embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (#156505). Then I embossed three 1″ strips of Basic White in the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (#154317) and the Fern 3D Embossing Folder (#158804). After cutting the lighthouse with the die from the Lighthouse Dies (#158906) and then embossed it with the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder (#149643). I chose to use the de-bossed side for the front for texture and interest.

The top of the lighthouse was die cut in Smoky Slate and the railing in Basic Black. The sentiment was stamped in Pacific Point from the Lighthouse Point Photopolymer Stamp Set (#158901) and then die cut. Both the lighthouse and the sentment and lifted with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

There are so many wonderful Embossing Folders to give texture to your cards!

Stampin Stray Ducklings – Die Cuts!

I picked the Summer Shadow Dies (#156618) to feature because of the lovely flower shapes. I love the new In-Colors Starry Sky and Orchid Oasis so I used those for my flower colors. I paired Shaded Spruce and Mint Macaron for the leaves! A polka-dot In-Color piece of Orchid Oasis DSP backs the flowers on a Basic White panel cut with the largest die from the Scalloped Contours Dies (#155560). The card base is Starry Sky. The sentiment from Go To Greetings (#158763) is stamped in Starry Sky.

Here is another card featuring die cuts. It was created with the Fond of Autumn Bundle (#159838) from the July-December 2022 Mini-Catalog. I love the die cut in the card base under the popped up die cut.

Stampin Stray Ducklings Summer Sale-A-Bration!

I picked the Wonderful World Bundle (#159918) which includes the Wonderful World stamp set and the Wonderful World 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (DSP). All of this is free with a $100 order during Sale-A-Bration! The card base is Melon Mambo cut with the fun-fold corner-flip. The front and inside of the card feature the Wonderful World DSP. The square on the front is cut from Mint Macaron with the largest square from Stylish Shapes Dies (#159183). It is stamped with the leaves from the stamp set in Mint Macaron. The flower is colored with Stampin’ Write Markers on Whisper White and cut out with Layering Circles Dies (#151770). The sentiment from Happiness Abounds (#159238) is stamped in Melon Mambo on Whisper White and punched out with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (#152883).
