Oops!

I accidentally ordered 2 of these bundles. My mistake gives you the opportunity to have it for $50, instead of the $52.67 it would be to order it on your own. First to comment they want it, gets it.

Scrap Card Saturday

Saturday Scrap card! Scrapbookers who want to make a quick card or Stampers who want to use up Designer Series Paper, Saturday morning posts are for you!

Take a variety of patterned and solid papers and cut 1″ x 5-1/4″ rectangles. The simplest way to make the card is diagonally cut each rectangle and then alternate them across the card. You can cut other smaller pieces, but start out simple!

The two papers at the top are 4″ in length and the left one is 2-7/8” in width and the right one is 1-1/8”. The bottom two papers are1-1/8″ in height and the left is 1-18″ wide and the right is2-7/8″ wide. Circle punches or dies or the sentiment and the mat and there’s your card!

5-1/4” x 4” two-sided paper, cut at 2-1/2” from the left. Then cut the wide panel 3” up from the bottom and cut the 1-1/2” strip, 2” from the bottom. Flip alternate rectangles. Add a sticker or sentiment and you’re done.

Stray Ducklings August Blog Waddle

This month we are show-casing Fancy/Fun Fold cards. You may have arrived here from Nancy Legate’s blog.  Following me is Kim Baker’s blog. Let us know what you think of our projects!

I created my card using the Free As A Bird cling stamp set (#149468) and the sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet photopoymer stamp set (#143666).  The card base is a 7 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Mint Macaron with Garden Lane Designer Series Paper pieces (149488) on the side panels. It is scored at 2 1/8″ x 2 7/8″ from each end. The center panel is Mango Melody from the Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (#149613).
The bird and flowers were stamped on Whisper White in Gray Granite and Mango Melody, then fussy cut.  They are colored with Colored Pencils and blended with an Aqua Painter.  The leaves were stamped in Mint Macaron and Pear Pizazz on a Whisper White circle. Then adhered to a Mint Macaron Circle cut with the Stitched Shapes Dies (#152323).  I used a square from those dies to cut a rectangle for the sentiment.
