Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Silver or Gold!

So happy you are hopping through our December Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the world featuring silver or gold on our projects! Here is a sneak peek of my card. Below my full card is a list of links to all of the participating bloggers.

My card features the Season of Green & Gold DSP (#164324), a part of the Season of Green & Gold Suite (#164121) which also includes the Golden Greenery Stamp Set (#164331) and the Golden Greenery Dies (164116). These are also a part of the Golden Greenery Bundle (#164117).

My card base is Mossy Meadow, with a layer of Season of Green & Gold DSP (#164324). I used the dies to cut the boughs and branches from the Season of Green & Gold DSP (#164324). Isn’t that cool they match?!

I cut a circle from the Spotlight on Nature Dies (#163580) in a gold pattern from the Season of Green & Gold DSP (#164324). Then I die cut branches from Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) using dies from the Lifetime of Love Dies (#162583). I built the cluster from the bottom up, completing it with the sentiment from Greetings of the Season (#164325) Merry stamped in Mossy Meadow and Christmas stamped in VersaMark ink (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678). I completed my card with a bow in Gold from the Gold & Silver 1/8″ Trim Combo Pack (#161633). Did you know there are gold adhesive dots in the Blooming Pearls (#162238)?

Stamping Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle-Gift Card Holders!

Welcome to our December Blog Waddle! We call ourselves ducklings, so we waddle from blog post to blog post, instead of hop!! We are featuring ways to gift a gift card for the holidays! You can substitute birthday, Valentines, Easter, Graduation, and any other occasion products to give gift cards all year long.

Here is a sneak peek of my card.

I love the Season of Green & Gold Specialty DSP (#164324) (SDSP) part of the Season of Green & Gold Suite Collection (#164121)! I started with a Garden Green base 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.

Next is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of the Season of Green & Gold SDSP. The other piece of cardstock base is 4-1/4″ x 9″, scored at 3″ and 6″. Fold it in a z-fold. On the front panel, I used a piece of Season of Green & Gold SDSP cut to 2-3/4″ x 4″. And the top layer is Basic White 2-1/2″ x 3-3/4″. Stamp boughs and branches from the Golden Greenery stamp set (#164331) in Garden Green and Old Olive on scraps of Basic White. Then die cut the pieces with the Golden Greenery Dies (#164116). These are available as a Bundle (#164117) for a 10% savings!

Cut a piece of SDSP 3″ tall x 2-7/8″ wide to form the gift card pocket on the next panel. Adhere it with tear n tape around the sides and bottom, being sure to leave room for the gift card. I stamped another bough on the final Basic White panel, 4″ x 2-3/4″. Both sentiments are from the Greetings of the Season stamp set (#164325), stamped in Garden Green.

You can add a ribbon or a belly band to hold the card closed, if you prefer. Here is a birthday card gift holder I made.

Stamping Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle-My Favorite Mini-Catalog Products

Welcome to our November Blog Waddle! We call ourselves ducklings, so we waddle from blog post to blog post, instead of hop!! We are featuring Christmas cards this month!

Here is a sneak peek of my card. Look very closely, you will see the Wink of Stella I added to the trees!

I love the Painted Tress 3D Embossing Folder from the Sept-Dec Mini-Catalog! I knew I wanted to use Basic Beige and either Mossy Meadow or Old Olive. Here are some samples I made before I made my final choice.

The card base is Mossy Meadow, 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. Next is a layer of Basic Beige embossed with the folder. Then I used a sponge dauber to add Basic Beige to each of the trees. I used the Basic Beige on all 3 samples. It has a greenish cast on the Basic Beige, perfect for an evergreen tree!

I added some Basic Beige 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon (#163788) a tag stamped in Mossy Meadow and Basic Beige on Basic Beige using the Greetings of the Season stamp set from the Greetings of the Season Bundle (#164113), also from the Mini. A little Wink of Stella (#141897) added some sparkle to the trees, and 3 Clear Ribboned Adhesives-Backed Dots (#164204). I hope this inspires you when you make your Holiday cards this year!

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Autumn!

So happy you are hopping through our October Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the world featuring cards for the season we have right now! Being in the Northern Hemisphere, it is Autumn, my favorite season! Below my card is a list of links to all of the participating bloggers.

My card features the Frosted Forest Decorative Masks (#164350), a part of the Frosted Forest Bundle (#164137) which also includes the Frosted Forest Stamp Set (#164344).

My card base is Cajun Craze, with a layer of Crushed Curry. Next, I cut a strip of the Regals DSP (#163774) and added it over the Crushed Curry. The top layer was cut from Basic Beige using the Countryside Corners Dies (#161471). I stamped the tree in Early Espresso and Pecan Pie. Using Blending Brushes (#153611) and Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry and the masks, I colored the tree. The masks make it so easy to create a beautiful, realistic tree!! A few flicks with an Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker for grass completed my card.

Welcome to our September Blog Waddle! We call ourselves ducklings, so we waddle instead of hop!! We are featuring a sketch from page. 22 of the Annual Catalog to create a Fall-themed or Halloween card.

I stamped the cauldron from the Potions & Spells Bundle (#164357) in Basic Gray on Basic Gray cardstock. The bubbles were stamped in Lemon Lime Twist on Lemon Lime Twist and fussy cut them out. The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink on Gorgeous Grape and heat embossed in white. I wrapped white baker’s twine around the cardstock base 3 times and tied a bow. A little wink of stella (#141897) add some sparkle to the bubbles and handle, to complete my card. It looks better in person!
