My card features the Regal Flora stamps (#164157), a part of the Regal Flora Bundle (#164034) which also includes the Regal Flora Dies (#164033). You can buy the entire Regal Winter Suite using just one number, #164040. I also used the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder (#162189) and Regal Winter DSP (#164156).
My card base is Basic White, with a layer of Basic White, embossed with the Distressed Embossing Folder. Next, I cut a strip of the Regal Winter DSP and layered a small piece of Early Espresso under the bottom edge with the end cut at an angle. The tag was cut from Basic White using the Greetings of the Season Dies (#164112). The flowers and leaves in the Regal Flora were stamped or colored with Stampin’ Write Markers in Lemon Lolly, Wild Wheat, Pebbled Path, and Old Olive. Other pieces were from Gold Foil die cut with a die from the Cheerful Daisies Dies (#161296). The tag was tied with Gold Trim (#161633) and Baker’s Twine (#16 . Welcome to our September Blog Waddle! We call ourselves ducklings, so we waddle instead of hop!! We are featuring a sketch from page. 22 of the Annual Catalog to create a Fall-themed or Halloween card.
Here is a sneak peek of my card.

I used the sketch in the top right corner of these sketches:

I began with a Basic Black base, 4-1/4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2. I used 3 different pieces from the Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP (#163775), each 1″ wide. I stamped the cauldron from the Potions & Spells Bundle (#164357) in Basic Gray on Basic Gray cardstock. The bubbles were stamped in Lemon Lime Twist on Lemon Lime Twist and fussy cut them out. The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink on Gorgeous Grape and heat embossed in white. I wrapped white baker’s twine around the cardstock base 3 times and tied a bow. A little wink of stella (#141897) add some sparkle to the bubbles and handle, to complete my card. It looks better in person!

Welcome to our August Blog Waddle! We call ourselves ducklings, so we waddle instead of hop!! We are featuring ephemera. What is ephemera, you ask? One definition is: Collectibles, keepsakes, relics, remembrances, reminders, souvenirs, and tokens. I use a lot of these in scrapbooking. Stampin’ Up! is offering us preprinted pieces to put together on our cards and scrapbook pages. You can also cut several different die cuts from all of the amazing choices and create your own ephemera look!
Here is a sneak peek of my card.

I began with a Garden Green base, scored at 4-1/4. I wanted a background that wasn’t too distracting, so I picked a Garden Green pattern from the Regals 6″ x 6″ DSP (#163774), cut it into 1-1/4″ and 1″ strips. I selected several pieces of ephemera from the Fully Flowering Mix & Match Epemera Pack (#163762) and the Labels & Layers Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#163764). Then I literally played around with them. After arranging the pieces, I added a sentiment from the Saying Something Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#163761). When you are in a hurry, this is a great option to have on your crafting table!!

Here is another card using more ephemera pieces. My guideline for designing with ephemera, stop when you like the look and feel of the card. It is ok to put pieces on one way, remove all of them and start again.

Welcome to our June Blog Waddle! We call ourselves ducklings, so we waddle from blog to blog instead of hopping!! We are featuring projects using Embossing Folders. Here is a sneak peek of my card. I love the deep lines and detail of the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder! Such amazing texture!

I began with a Basic White base, scored at 4-1/4. I used the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder (#162935) on a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White. It is embossed partially from one end and then a little bit from the other end, leaving a blank area between for the sentiment. The flowers are from Adoring Hearts stamp set (#162563), stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends. Then I fussy cut them out. I stamped the sentiment from Cheerful Daisies (#161290) in Bubble Bath. Easy, but stunning card.
