
Clue #1 Landscape card, gather your supplies:
Card Direction: Landscape/Horizontal (Karla made hers vertical!)
NOTE: short side is the smaller measurement, long side is the larger measurement
BOTH SIDES OF YOUR DSP (Designer Series Paper) …. WILL SHOW
Colored Card Stock:
– 1 @ 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Score at 4-3/4
Coordinating Colored Card Stock:
– 1 @ 3-1/4 x 3-1/2
– 1 @ 1/4 x 4-1/4 (Optional)
Designer Series Paper
– 1 @ 4-1/4 TALL x 11 WIDE BOTH SIDES WILL SHOW AND PART AT AN ANGLE Score at 5-1/2 (SAVE the 1” cut off edge…Optional) Mark at 1-1/4 from the fold along the top edge of the DSP. Put that mark near the top of your scorer and the bottom right corner narthex bottom of the scorer. Lightly score. Fold the top right corner down to the bottom of the DSP, forming a triangle.
– 1 @ 4 x 4 or 3-3/4 x 3-3/4 layered on a 4 x 4 (Optional) Can be same or coordinate with above…or white/vanilla. For a very narrow piece, trim t.he top right corner diagonally and put it just under the triangle flap just created
White/Vanilla CS
– 1 @ 3 x 3-1/4
– 1 @ 3-3/4 x 3-3/4 (Optional) Layered with a 4 x 4
Embellishments small to medium to large:
– for embellishments, use something that goes along with your DSP
There are so many ways to complete this card: extra DSP, extra writing panels, extra embellishments. Make the basic card and then add whatever you like!
First pictures are a basic layout along the lines of the instructions. Second set uses extra DSP.
