Friday Funny

Earlier this month, our granddaughter turned 6. Here is the Encanto inspired card I made for her!

Here are the lattice cards we made tonight!
Vertical card:
– Card stock(A) base (white for your first card): 4¼ x 11, scored at 5½. Cut off 6, ½” strips from one end of the card base. Use a large sticky note, painter’s tape, or wash tape to evenly space out the strips. Use 2 as the posts for the lattice.
– DSP (optional) 3 x 4¼
Here is my card. I used 3 colors and the blends to create the sunset look inside my card, behind the lattice.

If you would like to join us, please contact me and provide an email address. I will send out the Mystery Stamping Clues ahead of time with the Zoom invitation. We meet at 7:30 Central Time for about 40 minutes.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!!

Welcome to our May Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator has created projects for the men in our lives! Below my card is a list of links to all of the participating bloggers.
My card features the Seaside Bay cling stamp set (#160436) and Seaside Bay Dies (160444)! I chose this set because my husband and I love the beach! The card base is the new color Pebbled Path with a layer of Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ DSP (#161449). You can see the bottom of the layer is stamped in Pebbled Path. One of the largest tags in Basic White from Tailor Made Tags (#155563) is the focal point of the card. The tag is decorated with stamped images and dies in Old Olive, Soft Seafoam, Gray Granite, Petal Pink, and Calypso Coral.

The tag is finished with Boho Blue 3/8″ Textured Ribbon (#161631) tied with Gray Granite twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack (#155475), three Classic Matte Dots (#158146) and the sentiment stamped in Gray Granite from the cling stamp set, Something Fancy (#160416). Here is a close up of the cute little crab. SSSHHHH, this is a birthday card for my husband!!
