Welcome to our August Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator is featuring projects using our fabulous punches! Can you guess how many punches I used on my card?
You may have arrived here from Julia’s blog. She had a wonderful project! I chose the Medium Daisy Punch (#149517) to start my card. The card base is Crushed Curry with a layer of Basic White. I wanted to anchor my jar of flowers, so I used a piece of In Good Taste DSP (#152494). I punched 10 daisies out of Daffodil Delight. Then I used a Blending Brush (#153611) to darken the centers and a little bit on the petals with Crushed Curry. This adds depth to the flowers. The flowers needed a container, so I stamped the jar from Jar of Flowers (#152515) in Smokey Slate and then stamped the smaller jar stamp on the back side in Pool Party, stamped off, to add the water in the jar. Of course, then I punched out the jar with the coordinating Jar Punch (#152703). The stems were stamped in Old Olive and then colored with the Light Old Olive Stampin Blend (#154892).
The jar is popped with Dimensionals (#104430). The flowers needed some greenery, so I used the Sprig Punch (#148012) on Old Olive and Mossy Meadow cardstock. The top daisy is popped up on a dimensional and the sprigs tucked in among the daisies. I stamped the sentiment from Art Gallery (#158201) in Early Espresso and punched out with the Banners PIck a Punch (#153608).

I also made a version of this card using the Daisy Punch (#143713) to create 3 larger daisies. Which one do you like the best?

I colored the centers with an Early Espresso marker and then added some Wink of Stella (#141897) to make the centers sparkle. Did you count the number of punches I used? It was 4!
