Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Happy Birthday!

Welcome to our June Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator is featuring birthday-themed projects!

You may have arrived here from Tracy’s blog. She had a wonderful project! I chose the Hand-Penned Suite Collection for my birthday card. It has the Hand-Penned Petals (#155070) stamp set, the coordinating set of Penned Flowers Dies (#155557), the gorgeous Hand-Penned Deigner Series Paper (DSP) (#155499), and the Genial Gems (#155500) embellishments. The card base is Misty Moonlight with partial layers of Hand-Penned DSP and Mint Macaron from the Subtles DSP (#155229). The flower patterned paper was die cut at the top with a die from the Penned Flowers Die.

I cut a frame of Pale Papaya with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (#151690) and removed the inside of it. I used a Water Painter (#151298)and Misty Moonlight ink on a piece of Basic White to place behind the frame. I stamped the flowers and colored them with Mint Macaron and Pale Papaya Stampin Blends. The sentiment stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black is from the Pansy Patch stamp set (#154999) and punched out with the Double Oval Punch (#154242), To finish the card, I added White Bakers Twine and a few Genial Gems.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Thinking of You

Welcome to our May Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator is featuring thinking of you cards for the guys!

You may have arrived here from Tracy Held’s blog. I love her project! I chose the Sailng Home cling stamp set (#149457) along with the coordinating Smooth Sailing Dies (#149576 )for my card. The card base is Misty Moonlight with a layer of In Good Taste DSP (#152494). I am amazed at the movement in this paper. It is so pretty!

I used the Layering Circle Dies (#151770) with the sailboat popped up on top of it. I stamped the birds, sailboat and sentiment in Midnight Muse. The extra waves were hand drawn with the Midnight Muse Stampin’ Write Marker. The sentiment is from the Art Gallery photopolymer stamp set (#158201). A small piece of White Bakers Twine anchors the left end of the sentiment, die cut with the Floral Gallery Dies (#154316).

Here are up close pictures of the Designer Series Paper used on this card. The side I used on my card and the reverse. Aren’t they amazing?!
