Monday Mystery Stamping – 5/11/26

I made 2 cards. One is using the new Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder. This card is vertical, but can also be horizontal. The second card is using the Scenic Coast DSP. Your embossed panels must line up exactly. Same if you use DSP.

Clue #1  Vertical/Portrait OR Horizontal/Landscape card, gather your supplies: 

Card Stock card base
–  1 @ 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4 OR 4-1/4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2
–  2 @ 4 x 5-1/4, same color if embossing (Hint: Use 3 of these panels to create 2 cards)

Designer Series Paper 
–  2 @ 3-3/4 x 5, Must match the scene or pattern you are using, if you are not embossing.

White/Vanilla CS 
–  1 @ 4 x 5-1/4, inside writing panel, if needed
–  1 @ front of card sentiment 

Embellishments    small optional
– for embellishments, use something that goes along with your DSP. Embellishments are not needed, especially with scenic DSP.

Cut one piece of the embossed panel or DSP into strips. For something a little different, I cut this embossed panel from the right at 1/2″, 3/4″, 1/2″, 3/4″, 1/2″ and that leaves a 1″ piece. For my piece of DSP, I cut 1/2″ strips. On the embossed panels, use the 3 1/2″ strips adhered with dimensionals directly over the same pattern on the underneath piece. For the second card, use the other 3 pieces and adhere them with dimensionals over the same pattern on the underneath panel. I embossed the flower and fussy cut it to add to the front of my card.

Monday Mystery Stamping – 3/30/26

Clue #1  Vertical/Portrait card, gather your supplies: 

Colored Card Stock card base
–  1 @ 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
–  1 @ 4 x 5-1/4, embossed, if you like

Designer Series Paper 
–  1 @ 6 x 6, I am using Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper. Both sides will be seen. Cut 3/4 off either the top or the bottom. Discard or use on another project. Rotate the large piece of DSP and cut 1-1/4 off the left side. This goes on hte front of the card. Score at 4 from the left on the remaining piece of DSP. (Or 3/4 from the right-hand side.)

Stamp your greeting (if any) on the writing panel. Fold the DSP and attach it to the back of the writing panel on the right-hand side. Attach this to the righthand inside of hte card base.

Attach the 1-1/4 DSP strip to the front of the embossed panel. Attach panel to frot of the card.

White/Vanilla CS 
–  1 @ 4 x 5-1/4, inside writing panel
–  2 @ front of card sentiment and optional inside sentiment, not on the writing panel

Embellishments    small to medium optional
– for embellishments, use something that goes along with your DSP. Embellishments are not needed, especially with scenic DSP. 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. Base.

Monday Mystery Stamping – 3/9/26

Clue #1  Vertical/Portrait card, gather your supplies: 

Colored Card Stock card base
–  1 @ 4-1/4 x 11, score at 4-1/2 and 10
–  1 @ 1-1/2 x 5-1/4 Easel base
–  1 @ 1-1/2 x 3-1/4 Cross piece. Can be this rectangle, a circle, oval, label die cut, or a pumpkin, cupcake, other die cut.

Complimentary Card Stock 
–  1 @ 1-1/4 x 5 Easel layer
–  1 @ 1-1/4 x 3 Cross piece layer

Designer Series Paper A 
–  1 @ 1 wide x 4-3/4 tall Easel layer
–  1 @ 1 tall x 2-3/4 wide Cross piece layer

Designer Series Paper B 
–  1 @ 4 wide x 5-1/4 tall This piece can be a 3rd DSP pattern.
–  1 @ 4 wide x 4-1/4 tall Front of card, bottom
–  1 @ 4 wide x 3/4 tall Front of card, top

White/Vanilla CS 
–  1 @ 4 x 5-1/4  OPTIONAL  (back of card writing panel)
– 1 @ 4 x 3 writing panel inside, if using a darker card base.
–  1 @ 1-1/4 x 4-1/4 tall Easel stopper, popped up on pop-dots, inside. Can be same color as card base or complimentary cardstock. It can have DSP on it or not.

Embellishments    small to medium 
– for embellishments, use something small to medium that goes along with your DSP

Here are a couple of my cards. The vertical easel piece can be 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 wide. It can be layered in 1/4″ increments or 1/8″ increments. Layers are optional.

Monday Mystery Stamping – 1/19/26

Clue #1  Horizontal/Landscape card, Gather your supplies. (all measurements in inches)
Colored or White/Vanilla Card Stock card base:
– 1 @ 4 x 9-3/4. Z-Fold. See picture below for cutting (solid line) and scoring (dashed lines).
– 1 @ 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. Base.

DSP: 2 or 3 patterns
(A) – 1 @ 2-3/4 wide x 2-3/4 tall. Front.
(A) – 1 @ 9 wide x 3/4 tall. Cut into 3 pieces – 5, 2, and 2.
(B – C) – 1 or 2 pieces @ 2 wide x 2-3/4 tall. These can match or be different if using 2 pieces.
White/Vanilla Card Stock (CS):
–  1 or 2 @ 2 wide x 2-3/4 tall.

This card uses 3 pieces measuring 2 wide by 2-3/4 tall to the right of the 2-3/4 square on the front of the card. It is up to you hope many writing panels and how many DSP panels you want to use. You could use all DSP on the front and then add a 4 x 5-1/4 white/vanilla panel on the back for your written message.

Embellishments small – medium: 
– for embellishments, use something that goes along with your DSP. I suggest something no bigger than 2-3/4 x 2-3/4.

Monday Mystery Stamping – 1/5/26

Clue #1  Vertical/Portrait card, Gather your supplies: (all measurements in inches)
Colored Card Stock card base
–   1 @ 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4
Colored Card Stock (either the same as base or complimentary)
–   1 @ 3-1/4 x 3-1/4 (mat for pinwheel)
DSP:
–   1 @ 6 x 6 small overall pattern, we will see both sides. Score at 1-1/2 on all 4 sides. Cut out all 4 corners. Fold each side in to the center and turn the right lower corner to the fold line. Burnish all folds. Tuck the 4th side under the first turned back corner.
White/Vanilla Card Stock (CS):
–  2 @ 4 x 5-1/4″ (one could be embossed, for the front of the card, the other goes inside if using dark card stock base)
–  1 strip or punched cardstock for the sentiment
–  optional 2-3/4 square for message inside the pinwheel. Oops, my picture is upside down!! HaHa!!

Karla couldn’t join us online because her Internet service was down, but here is her card! Karla glued her pinwheel down and added an embellishment in the center.

Monday Mystery Stamping – 12/8/25

Clue #1  Vertical/Portrait card, Gather your supplies: 
Colored Card Stock:
–   1 @ 5-1/2 x 10-3/4, score at 1-1/4, 5-1/2, 9-1/2
–   1 @ 3-3/4 square, cut diagonally into 2 triangles
–   1 @ 3-1/2 square, cut diagonally into 2 triangles
DSP A:
–  2 @ 3-3/4 wide x 5-1/4 tall, one goes on the front, one inside. Can be different DSPs.
DSP B:
–   1 @ 3-1/2 square, cut diagonally into 2 triangles
–   1 @ 3-1/4 square, cut diagonally into 2 triangles
DSP C:
–   4 @ 1 wide x 5-1/4 tall
White/Vanilla Card Stock (CS):
–  1 @ 4 x 5-1/4″
Embellishments:  
–   card front embellishment(s), use something that goes along with your DSP and theme. It should be at most 3 tall by 2-2-1/2 wide.

Score the base. Only 2 triangles, one of each size is needed for one card. Attach the DSP to the triangle leaving a border around the point. The largest triangle goes on the bottom flap. Adhere it close to the edge, the rectangle DSP will cover the edge. Attach the smaller triangle to the top flap.

One DSP goes on front and the other inside behind it. The writing panel goes on the left inside.

Cover both sides of the two flaps with the rectangle DSPs.

Monday Mystery Stamping – 11/10/25

Clue #1  Vertical/Portrait card, Gather your supplies: 
Colored Card Stock A card base: (these can be cut from one piece of cardstock measuring 10 x 7-1/4)
–   1 @ 5-1/2 x 7-1/4 wide, score at 1-1/2 and 3 on the 7-1/4 side
–   3 @ 1-1/2 x 7-1/4, with the 7-1/4 edge at the top, score at 1-1/2 and 3 on the 7-1/4 side (These can be a coordinating color to the base or the same)
DSP:
–   3 @ 1-1/4 tall x 4 wide. They can be random or cut from a 3-3/4 tall x 4 wide single piece
–   6 @ 1-1/4 tall x 1-1/4 wide squares. They can be 3 of 2 coordinating DSPs or one set of 3 can match the longer pieces.
White/Vanilla Card Stock (CS):
–  1 @ 5-1/4 x 4, writing panel for the back
Embellishments:  
–  card front embellishment(s), use something that goes along with your DSP and theme. A cluster or largish label-type die with a sentiment and smaller pieces.

Monday Mystery Stamping – 10/27/25

Clue #1  Vertical/Portrait card, Gather your supplies: 
White or Colored Card Stock A card base:
–   1 @ 5-1/2 x 4-1/4
Coordinating Colored Card Stock B:
–   1 @ 5-1/2 x 4, with the 5-1/2″ edge at the top, score at 2-3/4 
DSP:
–   1 @ 5-1/4 tall x 6 wide (both sides will be visible). Pick the side you want the most of it to show and with the 6″ edge at the top, score 2″ from the right hand side. The fold for this DSP is on the right.
–   1 @ 3-3/4 tall x 2-1/2 wide (can be the backside of the first DSP or complimentary)
White/Vanilla Card Stock (CS):
–  2 @ 2-1/2 x 3-3/4, I embossed one of these panels
Embellishments:  
–  card front embellishment(s), use something that goes along with your DSP and theme. It will go on one of the 2-1/2 x 3-3/4 pieces

Colored Card Stock A card base:
–   1 @ 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 
OPTIONAL Colored Card Stock B:
–   1 @ 5-1/4 x 4
DSP:
–   1 @ 3-1/2 TALL x 7-1/2 WIDE. Best to like both sides of your DSP. You will see more of one side than the other. Score at 2-3/4. Look at your paper before scoring to decide which side you want inside and which one outside.

White/Vanilla Card Stock (CS):
–  2-1/2 x 3-1/4 
–  sentiment strip, no more than 1″ tall and 2-1/2″ long

Embellishments:  
–   card front embellishment(s), use something that goes along with your DSP and theme. I suggest something close to 3-1/2 – 4 inches tall.

This card is stepped up with the Textured Notes Dies for the Night of Navy layer

Here the Night of Navy layer is cut just slightly larger than the folded DSP.

Easy-peasy card featuring BOTH sides of your pretty 12 x 12 DSP!! 

Colored Card Stock A card base:z
–   1 piece 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 
DSP:
–   1 piece 4 TALL x 12 WIDE, with an overall pattern. Best to like both sides of your DSP. You will see more of one side than the other. 
White/Vanilla Card Stock (CS):

–  1 piece 3-3/4 square for inside sentiment
Embellishments:  
–   card front embellishment(s), use something that goes along with your DSP and theme. Medium sized.

Score DSP at 2-1/2″ and 6-3/4″ and Z-fold. Keep in mind the 2-1/2″ flap is on the front and the longer end of the 12 x 12 DSP is on the card base, so score from left to right.
