Item Quick-Add Feature

Adding items to your shopping cart is now easier than ever. In addition to browsing and adding items to your shopping cart, any online store user can add a product to their shopping cart by entering an item code into a field and designating a desired quantity for the item. This function is found in the shopping cart, and the quickest way to get to this is to click the shopping cart icon in the upper right corner of the site navigation. This works much like the current item entry method in Order Entry Express (OEX) but works for any user of the online store.

Displaying Products Available in Multiple Languages

The way the online store has displayed and filtered products with multiple language versions has left something to be desired—until now. Moving forward, the site will show you all products in your primary language (e.g., stamps, kits)—and all products that don’t have language options (e.g., ink, embellishments, tools, etc.)—together as the default product displayed within the category view you’ve selected in the Shop Products section of the main navigation menu. For example, if you click Menu > Shop Products > Shop All, you will see all products with the language designation that matches your primary language (e.g., if you’re a French-speaking Canada user your default is French) along with all products that don’t have language options.

This change is intended to clean up the presentation of products for most users, who are interested in seeing the items that most apply to them without having to sort through products available in languages they aren’t interested in.

To see products in languages beyond your primary language, use the “Language” section under the “Filter By” left-hand navigation in desktop view or by clicking the “Filter” button near the top in mobile view. Here’s how that menu functions to filter products for your viewing.

  • Clicking one or more specific language in the language filter menu will show you products available in the selected language or languages. For example, if you click “English,” it will show you all products within the category you’re viewing that have an “English” designation in the product name (found in parentheses at the end of the product name). You can view multiple languages at once by clicking more than one selection in the filter menu.
  • We’ve also introduced a new selection in the language menu: “View All.” Clicking “View All” in the left-hand language navigation menu will show you all products with a language option, in all languages.
  • There is also a “Clear” button that appears at the bottom of the language filter menu once a selection is made on the menu. Clicking “Clear” will restore the view to the default language products and all non-language specific products.
  • Please note that using the language filter options will only show you products with a language designated in their product name. You will not see products without a language option/designation when using these filters, like ribbon, embellishments, etc.
  • Also note that the language filter section does not appear in the “Filter By” navigation when you are viewing specific product categories that don’t have any products with a language option/designation (e.g., Menu > Shop Products > Adhesives > Glue)

Monday Mystery Stamping – 7/10/23

Designer Series Papers (DSP):  (*use at least 2 different patterns)

Monday Mystery Stamping – 6/19/23

This was a challenging card with a wow when it is opened! These Mystery Stampers did a lot of work ahead of meeting to be able to get the card done in 30 minutes! Well done ladies!!!!

Monday Mystery Stamping – 6/12/23

Here are the Miura-fold cards we made tonight!
Vertical (Portrait) Card:
– Card stock base, Whisper White: 5-1/2 x 10-1/2*, score at 3 1⁄2 and 7, then score as follows. Measure 2” down from the top on the left score line and 2” up from the bottom on the right score line. Score from the corners to the mark, and from the mark to the next score line on both sides. See picture.

  • * During Mystery Stamping, 2 great ideas were suggested to make this card stand up. Option 1: leave the card base 5-1/2 x 11. Score as above leaving a 1/2 on the right side. Score that 1/2 and fold it back. Option 2: Add a panel to the back of the original base that is 5-1/2 x 3-1/2. Use the cutoff triangle from the right panel to add some interest. Zoom in an Marcia’s card to see how she did that!

– DSP 2 pieces: 5-1/4 x 3-1/4
– DSP 2 pieces (needs to be a non-directional pattern): 1-3/4 x 3-1/4
– White or Vanilla: 5-1/4 x 3-1/4

Cut your large DSP pieces carefully, as the image on the left below shows. Watch the DSP pattern for the right-hand piece. Cut the 2 small DSP pieces as shown below in the middle. Be sure your cuts are opposite! Finally, if your card base is not white or vanilla, cut the insert piece as shown on the right.
