Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Birthdays

Welcome to our March Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator is featuring birthday cards!

You may have arrived here from Annette’s blog. She had a fabulous project! I chose the Timeless Tulips Bundle (#153793) for my birthday card, as I have several birthdays to celebrate in the next 2 weeks. The card base is Basic White with the corners rounded using the Detailed Trio Punch (#146320).

I used the Ornate Layers Dies (#152726) for the next 2 layers. The bottom layer in Gorgeous Grape and the next layer in Purple Posy. Then I stamped the tulips in Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather and the leaves and stems in Pear Pizazz. I fussy cut the leaves and stems and smallest tuplips. The large tulips and curvy leaves were punched out. A bit of ribbon from the Playing with Patterns Ribbon Combo (#152468) ties the flower stems together. The sentiment from Here’s A Card (#149438) is stamped in Gorgeous Grape and the ends are punched using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (#152883).

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – January

Welcome to our January Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator is featuring projects from the new January-June Mini-catalog and the Sale-A-Bration flyer! I’m so glad you are checking out our blog hop this month. You may have arrived here from Annette’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

I chose the Paper Blooms 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (#155222) from the Sale-A-Bration flyer for my card. The card base is Seaside Spray, a single 5-1/2″ x 11″ piece. It has a matching belly band. I used 4 pieces of the DSP and one white panel for the message. This is a fun-fold card we did for Monday Night Mystery Stamping.

The sentiment is from Approaching Perfection Cling Stamp Set (#155282), stamped in Night of Navy. It is one of the stamp sets in Level 1 you can select with a $50 purchase by February 28th. I used the Cherry Blossoms Dies (#151456) to create the flowers on the belly band and inside on the white panel.

The sentiment on the inside of my card came from Friend Like You (#149237). I also created a version of my card with Rococo Rose for the card base.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Gift Packaging

Welcome to our December Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator is featuring projects for gifting!

You may have arrived here from Annette’s blog. She had a fabulous project! I chose the Snowflake Wishes Bundle (#155172) for my card. The card base is Night of Navy, a single 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ piece.

I am challenging myself to use up every piece of this beautiful Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper (#153512)! Four more sheets to go, but I have several anniversaries and birthdays in January! The DSP is 4″ x 12″, scored at 1-1/4″, 5″ and 10-1/4″. The snowflakes are cut from Highland Heather, Night of Navy and Whisper White. The sentiment ends are punched using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (#152883). Under the snowflakes is a piece of ribbon from the Playing With Patterns Ribbon Combo (#152468).

Inside the card, the flap of DSP is adhered to hold a gift card. What do you think?

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – December Holidays!

Welcome to our November Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator is featuring projects for the December Holidays!

You may have arrived here from Annette’s blog. She had a fabulous project! I chose the Christmas Gleaming Variety Bundle (#156082) for my card.

I am challenging myself to use up every piece of this beautiful Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper (#150429)! Two more sheets to go!

I started my card on a Night of Navy card base with 3 more layers of cardstock and DSP. Between the card base and the Whisper White layer is a 1/2″ of the Night of Navy banner, created with the Triple Banner Punch (#138292). The next layer is a Copper Foil Sheet (#142020), followed by the DSP. Next, I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (#149638) to cut two layers for on the top of the banner and under the banner. The small ornament and sentiment is from Christmas Gleaming cling stamp set (#150464) stamped in Night of Navy. The larger ornament was punched with the Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack (#152479) and then embossed with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder (#150646). Tied a bit of Night of Navy ribbon from the Playing With Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack (#152468) and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Here are a couple of other card ideas using this stamp set!
