Monday Mystery Stamping – 3/28

Here are the cards we made Monday night during our Mystery Stamping Zoom. There are SO many wonderful possibilities with this card! Use 4 different DSP pieces on this card, some stamps or die cuts and it is done! Above are the card fronts. Below, the inside and then inside the gatefold. I call this a hidden gate-fold card.

If you would like to join us, please contact me and provide an email address. I will send out the Mystery Stamping Clues ahead of time with the Zoom invitation. We meet at 7:30 Central Time for about 40 minutes.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop

Welcome to our March Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator is featuring critters of all kinds!

You may have arrived here from Shirley’s blog. My card features the Ladybug Builder Punch(#157698) to create a bumblebee. This punch is a part of the Hello Ladybug Bundle(#157699).

The card base is Basic Black (11″ x 5-1/2″) with 2 pieces of the Hand-Penned DSP on it. The Hammered Metal (3D) Embossing Folder (#150646) gave the Daffodil Delight card stock a texture to resemble a honeycomb. The bumblebee was created with a Basic Black body and a layer of Daffodil Delight which was cut into stripes and vellum wings! The sentiment is from Pansy Patch.

Here is a picture of the card expanded showing the fun-fold and another little bumblebee!

Stampin Stray Ducklings March Blog Waddle!

Welcome to our monthly Blog Waddle! This month our projects celebrate Spring, St. Patrick’s Day, windy March, anything that feels like Spring! You may have arrived here from Lori Helvick’s blog.  Following me is Kim Baker’s blog.

I picked the Flowering Rain Boots photopolymer stamp set (#157689) and the Rain Boots Dies (#157690) as I love to garden and I can’t wait to get into the flower beds. You can save 10% when purchasing the Flowering Rain Boots Bundle (#157691). I started with a Basic White Thick card stock with a Basic Gray layer. Another Basic White layer holds the card elements. The sentiment is from the Art Gallery photopolymer stamp set (#158201).

The boots were stamped in Smokey Slate, the tulips in Blushing Bride, the flower pot, seed packet and daisies in Calypso Coral. The background trellis pattern is included in the Rain Boots Dies.

Monday Mystery Stamping – 3/7

Here are the cards we made Monday night during our Mystery Stamping Zoom. There are SO many wonderful possibilities with this card! The key to this card is the slider! Here is my sample card.

If you would like to join us, please contact me and provide an email address. I will send out the Mystery Stamping Clues ahead of time with the Zoom invitation. We meet at 7:30 Central Time for about 40 minutes.

Here are the 2 pieces key to this card. If you use a dark card stock base, cut 2 pieces of white or vanilla 4-3/4″ x 3-1/2″. The slider piece has 3 cut lines, making a frame. The piece inside that frame is scored in 3 places, shown by dashed lines. If the picture below is not clear, please contact me and I will help you!
