Welcome to our monthly Blog Waddle! This month we are featuring projects using a Suite in the Annual Catalog. You may have arrived here from Nancy Legate’s blog. Following me is Kim Baker’s blog. Let us know what you think of these fantastic cards!
I picked the World of Good Suite (#154140) on pages 24-26 of the Annual Catalog.

I created my card using a Cinnamon Cider card base and a fun fold to create the corner. Next I embossed the North America stamp with Versamark Ink and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder on a piece of Basic Black cardstock, matted on Cinnamon Cider and then on a piece of the World of Good Specialty DSP (#152491) in this collection, and then layered on Basic Black. I duplicated this to make a bookmark.

Inside the card I layered Whisper White on Basic Black and stamped the globe image in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink.

The stamp set and dies are also available in the Beautiful World Bundle (#154091).

Thanks to my fellow Stray Duckling, Nancy Legate for the inspiration for this card and the fun fold!

Welcome to our October Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator is featuring projects using Designer Series Paper, DSP for short! There are two kinds of DSP Patterned and Speciality.
You may have arrived here from Tracy’s blog. She had a fabulous project! I chose the Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper (#153517) because I rarely use dark colors and I wanted to challenge myself. Do you challenge yourself?

I started my card on a Basic Black card base with a layer of DSP. I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (#151690) to cut two layers for the front of the card greeting. The sentiment is from Gorgeous Posies (#153289) and I used Calypso Coral ribbon from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack (#152479) to complete the front.

The Pretty Peacock paper from the Magic In This Night package makes a beautiful backdrop for the 4 panels. Each panel and layer was cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I accidentally used retired DSP (the leaves) for 2 of the panels and stamped the rose and leaves from Healing Hugs (#148223).
I finished the card with Happy Birthday from the Here’s A Hug (#149438). I created this card for my Monday Night Mystery Stamping group. They had the clues of what to cut before then and we met by Zoom to put the cards together. It is such a fun way to stay connected while staying apart.
