On the top Basic White layer, I stamped branches in Blackberry Bliss, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, and Sahara Sand. Sahara Sand splatters completed my stamping. Then I die cut some pieces from the Forever Flourishing Dies (#152714) in Gold Foil (#132622). I die cut a circle in Blackberry Bliss using the Stylish Shapes Dies (#159183) and heat embossed the sentiment from Flowers of Friendship cling stamp set (#155358) in white from the Basic Embossing Powders (#155554). A piece of Sahara Sand Twill ribbon from the Combo Pack (#158955) tucked behind the sentiment completed my card.

Welcome to our October Blog Waddle! We are featuring Autumn on our projects this month!! You may have arrived here from Lori Helvick’s blog.  Following me is Nancy Legate’s blog.

I picked the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder along with the Leaf Label & Amber Gem Combo Pack to feature on this Autumn card. I also embossed the envelope flap, giving a hint of what is inside! The leaf is from the Label & Amber Gem Combo Pack (#159969). Under the leaf, I added two pieces of Designer Series Paper, one from the Rustic Harvest DSP, the other from He’s The Man DSP (#159068) and some Linen Thread (#104199). Tucked the sentiment from Go To Greetings (#158763), stamped in Soft Suede, under the leaf and added some gems. Quick and easy card!

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – July-December Mini-Catalog

Welcome to our September Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator is featuring projects created with products found in the fabulous July-December Mini-Catalog!

You may have arrived here from Shirley’s blog. She had a great project! My card features the fun Rustic Harvest 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (#159633) part of the Rustic Harvest Suite Collection (#159648). There are so many fun patterns in this big assortment of DSP!

The card base is Basic Black, an 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet cut into quarters. I piece of the DSP is adhered to one panel and cut with the 4th from the largest Stitched Rectangle Die (#151820). I fussy cut another piece of the DSP to decorate the frame. Two more panels of Basic Black are scored and have two panels of DSP adhered to each. These are attached to the final Basic Black card base. Two strips of Basic Black are adhered to the back of the frame and the ends of the “curtain panels” are put through the loops. This creates the mechanism for this theater card.

The inside panel can be used for a greeting, sentiment or additional DSP panel. My card has the sentiment from Pansy Patch (#154999) on Basic White, matted on Crushed Curry.

The July-December mini-catalog has so many wonderful items for all of your fall and holiday cards, scrapbooking, paper crafting, and gift giving needs!

Stampin Stray Ducklings – Embossing Folders!

Welcome to our September Blog Waddle! We are featuring projects using embossing folders!! You may have arrived here from Lori Helvick’s blog.  Following me is Nancy Legate’s blog.

I picked the Lighthouse Point Bundle (#158907) to feature because I love lighthouses. They are America’s castles. The card base is Pacific Point with a layer of Balmy Blue which was embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (#156505). Then I embossed three 1″ strips of Basic White in the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (#154317) and the Fern 3D Embossing Folder (#158804). After cutting the lighthouse with the die from the Lighthouse Dies (#158906) and then embossed it with the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder (#149643). I chose to use the de-bossed side for the front for texture and interest.

The top of the lighthouse was die cut in Smoky Slate and the railing in Basic Black. The sentiment was stamped in Pacific Point from the Lighthouse Point Photopolymer Stamp Set (#158901) and then die cut. Both the lighthouse and the sentment and lifted with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

There are so many wonderful Embossing Folders to give texture to your cards!

Stampin Stray Ducklings – Die Cuts!

Welcome to our August Blog Waddle! We are featuring projects with die cuts!! You may have arrived here from Lori Helvick’s blog.  Following me is Nancy Legate’s blog.

I picked the Summer Shadow Dies (#156618) to feature because of the lovely flower shapes. I love the new In-Colors Starry Sky and Orchid Oasis so I used those for my flower colors. I paired Shaded Spruce and Mint Macaron for the leaves! A polka-dot In-Color piece of Orchid Oasis DSP backs the flowers on a Basic White panel cut with the largest die from the Scalloped Contours Dies (#155560). The card base is Starry Sky. The sentiment from Go To Greetings (#158763) is stamped in Starry Sky.

I hold stamping buffets each month and this card is one of 12 you can make in August. Contact me to attend!

Here is another card featuring die cuts. It was created with the Fond of Autumn Bundle (#159838) from the July-December 2022 Mini-Catalog. I love the die cut in the card base under the popped up die cut.
