In mid-April, the Host Rewards program is changing and each stamper/scrapbooker will earn their own rewards. More details will be shared as we get closer to that date.
For now, S4UNSBBP is the Host Code from now through mid-March. Please use this code when ordering if your order is under $150. This is how I collect small orders.
Welcome to our February Blog Waddle! We call ourselves ducklings, so we waddle from blog post to blog post, instead of hop!! We are featuring ways to use a card sketch with January-April Mini-Catalog, Sale-A-Bration, Online Exclusive, and Annual Catalog products!
Here is the Sketch we are using from page 12 of the January-April Mini-Catalog:
When I start to make a card from a sketch, I look through my stamps, dies, and DSP to see what jumps out at me. The Terrific Toadstools Bundle (#164790) in the January-April Mini-Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration brochure was the set for this card. I added a layer of Toadstool Gardens DSP (#164942 – free with a $60 purchase) to my Granny Apple Green card base and then focused on the oval shape. I don’t have an oval in any current product, so I used a circle from Spotlight on Nature Dies ($163580). I love layered DSP, so I choose a second Toadstool Gardens DSP (#164942) pattern. I picked more cardstock based on the colors in my DSP. The pointed rectangle is from Sentimental Park Dies (#160566). Here’s a first look at the pieces.
The proportions aren’t quite right, so I cut a 1/4″ from each side of the rectangle and an 1/8″ off the Melon Mambo strip.
To replicate the oval shape a little, I cut the circle apart and left a gap between the edges, covering the separation with the strip.
Here is a sneak peek of my finished card.
I stamped the toadstool in Gray Granite and Pumpkin Pie, popping the top up on a dimensional. The 2″ leftover strip of DSP I added to the envelope flap.

Here is a sneak peek of my card. Below my full card is a list of links to all of the participating bloggers.
My card base is Melon Mambo, with a layer of Bloom Impressions 12″ x 12″ DSP (#164944) and then a 3-3/4″ square of Basic White. On the square, I stamped the wreath from the Heart Shaped Bundle (#164953) in Melon Mambo and then 3 times in Flirty Flamingo. Another 1″ x 4″ strip of DSP was added to the left of the score line and a bow of white Baker’s Twine (#155475) tied over it. I used the die to cut the shape for the sentiment and finished the card with 3 Adhesive-Backed Pearl Trio (#163319).
I also stamped 2 corners on the inside panel.

I was going to focus on a Sale-A-Bration item, but when I woke up to snow this morning, I wanted a small sign of Spring!! So I grabbed the Delightful Wishes Bundle (#164710) found in the new Mini-Catalog! I started with a Pool Party card base 4-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.
Next is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Pool Party, embossed with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder (#163414). The branch was die cut in Pecan Pie. I stamped the flowers in Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight and the leaves in Old Olive, then die cut them. Wishing was die cut in Daffodil Delight for the background and Basic White for the word. The sentiment was stamped in Daffodil Delight, die cut, and adhered with small strips of Mini-Stampin Dimensionals (#144108). Thank goodness for Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755) to adhere everything else on this card!! I added a bow of Daffodil Delight 1/8″ Satin Ribbon (#164715) to complete my card.
