Monday Mystery Stamping – 9/29/25

Clue #1  Horizontal/Landscape card, Gather your supplies: 
Colored Card Stock A card base:
–   1 @ 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 
OPTIONAL Colored Card Stock B:
–   1 @ 5-1/4 x 4
DSP:
–   1 @ 3-1/2 TALL x 7-1/2 WIDE. Best to like both sides of your DSP. You will see more of one side than the other. Score at 2-3/4. Look at your paper before scoring to decide which side you want inside and which one outside.

White/Vanilla Card Stock (CS):
–  2-1/2 x 3-1/4 
–  sentiment strip, no more than 1″ tall and 2-1/2″ long

Embellishments:  
–   card front embellishment(s), use something that goes along with your DSP and theme. I suggest something close to 3-1/2 – 4 inches tall.

Here is the basic card, no layers

And a the card with the 4 x 5-1/4 layer

This card is stepped up with the Textured Notes Dies for the Night of Navy layer

Here the Night of Navy layer is cut just slightly larger than the folded DSP.

Changes to Stamps and Dies Packaging

  • Cling Stamps (Red Rubber) discontinued due to key raw materials becoming increasingly difficult to source, with some no longer being manufactured at all. Stampin’ Up! will continue to offer a wide range of photopolymer stamps to support various artistic styles and techniques.
  • Stampin’ Write Markers also discontinued due to growing popularity of Stampin’ Blends. There has been a steady decline in sales of Stampin’ Write Markers. One of the primary techniques unique to Stampin’ Write Markers is coloring directly on cling stamps—a technique that will become less relevant as we transition away from cling. On the Clearance Rack now.
  • New and Improved Stamp and Die Packaging Because photopolymer stamps are thinner, the packaging will be sleeker, slimmer packaging that saves space. Both stamps and dies will now come in the same size and style of packaging, making it easier than ever to store bundles and coordinating products together. The new packaging is similar to our current die packaging—durable, clear plastic envelopes—but with an exciting improvement: Die packaging will now feature printed artwork for quick and easy identification! Stamp packaging will continue to display artwork as well.

Thank you for stopping by on our September Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the world, featuring products from the new Mini-Catalog. Here is a sneak peek of my card. Below my full card picture is a list of links to all of this month’s participating bloggers.

I love Autumn, so I picked up the brand new Amber Autumn Bundle (#165893) to create this card! Both the stamps and dies in this bundle are fabulous!! The card base is Cajun Craze with a layer of Cajun Craze die cut with the background leaf die. It is gorgeous on its own.

I used the Traditional Labels Dies (#165864 ) to cut a label in Basic White to anchor my stamped pumpkin cluster. After cutting the label, I stamped off the acorn cluster in Pecan Pie before stamping on the label. The sentiment was stamped in Cajun Craze. Next, I colored the pumpkins, gourd, leafs and grasses with Stampin’ Blends. Stampin’ Up! artists create the most amazing stamp images for us!

Stamping Stray Ducklings September 2025 Blog Waddle

Welcome to our September Blog Waddle! We call ourselves ducklings, so we waddle from blog post to blog post, instead of hopping!! We are featuring cards using brand new products from the new September-December Mini-Catalog! Here’s a preview of my card.

The Autumn Trees Bundle (#165900) is so lovely with stunning die cut leaves! The card base is Balmy Blue with a lightly stamped tree in Pecan Pie to the left. Pecan Pie was die cut for the tree base and the leaves were die cut in Crushed Curry. Next, the deer die was cut from Early Espresso the width of the card.

The sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set (#163756) was stamped in Early Espresso on Basic White and a small bow of Baker’s Twine Essentials (#155475) completed my card.

Monday Mystery Stamping – 9/8/25

Clue #1  Horizontal/Landscape card, Gather your supplies: 
Easy-peasy card featuring BOTH sides of your pretty 12 x 12 DSP!! 

Colored Card Stock A card base:z
–   1 piece 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 
DSP:
–   1 piece 4 TALL x 12 WIDE, with an overall pattern. Best to like both sides of your DSP. You will see more of one side than the other. 
White/Vanilla Card Stock (CS):
–  1 piece 3-3/4 square for inside sentiment
Embellishments:  
–   card front embellishment(s), use something that goes along with your DSP and theme. Medium sized.

Score DSP at 2-1/2″ and 6-3/4″ and Z-fold. Keep in mind the 2-1/2″ flap is on the front and the longer end of the 12 x 12 DSP is on the card base, so score from left to right.

Monday Mystery Stamping – 8/25/25

Clue #1  Vertical/Portrait card, Gather your supplies: 
Easy-peasy card featuring BOTH sides of your pretty 6x 6 DSP!! Remember, you can cut a 12 x 12 into 6 x 6 pieces.
Colored Card Stock A card base:
–   1 @ 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 
DSP:
–   1 @ 6 TALL x 6 WIDE, with an overall pattern. Best to like both sides of your DSP. You will see more of one side than the other. Score at 1-3/8 on all 4 sides of your square DSP. Cut out the corners. Then cut from the top right of each rectangle down to the left corner. See pictures below.
Card Stock B:
–   1 @ 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 complimentary to DSP
Card Stock C:
–   1 @ 5-1/4 x 4 complimentary to DSP
White/Vanilla Card Stock (CS):
–  1 @ scrap for sentiment
Embellishments: 
–   for embellishments, use something that goes along with your DSP, not too big

Fold on the score lines, tucking the large end under the point of the previous side, all the way around the square.

Want to use up those corner pieces you cut off? Here are 2 ideas!

And if you are still with me, you can take the for triangles you cut off the sides and lay them out like the folded square and make another card.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – August, Get Well/Thinking of you!

Welcome to our August Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the world featuring Get Well and Thinking of You cards. Here is a sneak peek of my card. Isn’t the scenic Designer Series Paper (DSP) so lovely to work with? The Splendid Autumn DSP (#164173) is one of my favorites and as I start to think of Fall projects, this is perfect!! I started with a card base of Cajun Craze with an extra 1″ strip embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder (#164049). The DSP is cut at 3″ to make 2 cards. The tall grass from Prairie Grass stamp set (#166168) was stamped in Early Espresso directly on the DSP. I live on the prairie of Illinois and I think these stamps are gorgeous!

After adhering these 2 pieces to the card base, I used a scrap piece of Basic White to stamp Thinking of You from the Right Words stamp set (#165316) in Cajun Craze and punched the ends with the Happy Labels Pick a Punch (#160683) then added a bow from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack (#155475). The final embellishment are Pressed Flower Motifs (#165215).
