Stamping Stray Ducklings – Annual Catalog Favorites!

Welcome to our March Blog Waddle! We are featuring cards from the Annual Catalog this month!!

I picked the Pansy Patch bundle (#155674) for my project. It is such a sweet bundle! The card base is Highland Heather with a Basic White layer. The Soft Succulent In-Color DSP (#159254) is cut with the largest retired Seasonal Layers Die adhered to the layer. The pansy and flowers were die cut with the Pansy Dies (#155680) in Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heater, Soft Succlent, Evening Evergreen, Basic White and Daffodil Delight, and then pieced together. The die is hole-punched and a piece of Soft Succulent Ribbon (#155780) is tied with a piece of White Baker’s Twine (#155475). The sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set (#154999) was stamped in Highland Heather. Three pearls from the Pastel Pearls (#154571) completed my card!

Monday Mystery Stamping – 3/6/23

Here are the 4, yes 4 cards we made tonight! Simple cards using 1 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP!

Vertical (Portrait) or Horizontal (Landscape) Cards:
– 4 Card stock bases: 5½ x 8½
– If your cardstock is darker, add a 5-1/4 x 4 piece of white or vanilla for inside each card
– the DSP listed below is NOT the same as your 6 x 6 DSP
– I will add ribbon to each card

How to cut your 6″ x 6″ DSP:

Card 1
– DSP 5½ x 1-3/4 (this piece could be 2 wide) mat for the 5½ x 1½ piece of DSP
– Optional 5-1/4 x 4 DSP or another color of cardstock

Card 2
– DSP or another color of cardstock 3½ x 4-3/4 (this piece could be 3-1/4 wide) mat for the 3″ square piece of DSP

Card 3
– DSP or complimentary color of cardstock 3½ x 3½, mat for the 4 1½ squares of DSP

Card 4
– DSP or complimentary color of cardstock 3-1/4 x 3-3/4, cut into 3 pieces each 1-1/4 x 3-1/4 to mat the 3 1″ x 3″ pieces from your DSP

Monday Mystery Stamping – 2/6/23

Here are the card fronts we made tonight! The inside of the card is the wow!

Vertical (Portrait) Card:
– Card stock base: 8½ x 5½
– Design the front of the card anyway you want.  Layers, die cuts, stamps, etc.

The main feature of the card is the inside:
–  1 White, Vanilla or very light colored cardstock: 7½ x 5. Below are the scoring lines and the setting line for this piece.

Here is the finished inside of my card with 3 pieces of DSP on 3 parts of the pop-out.

Below are pictures of the measurements to layer on the pop-outs. The first leaves a larger margin around the DSP. The second set of measurements leaves a smaller amount.
