Stamping Stray Ducklings – Sale-A-Bration 2024!

Welcome to our January 2024 Blog Waddle! Wow, the new year already and it is the BEST time of the year with Stampin’ Up!! We are featuring projects created from the Sale-A-Bration flyer! I decided to let the Softly Stippled DSP (#162975) do most of the work for this card! This fabulous DSP is free with a $50 product purchase. I also used the Softly Sophisticated Bundle (#162947) and it is free with a $100 purchase. Here is a closeup of my card!

My card base is Calypso Coral with a layer of Pebbled Path. Next I used 3 pieces of the Softly Stippled DSP for the top panel, bottom panel and the strip covering where they meet. I ran the 2 panels through the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder, part of the SAB Bundle for a little extra texture. I stamped the sentiment from the Softly Sophisticated stop set in Calypso Coral and the edge of the flowers in Pebbled Path then punched it out with Heartfelt Hexagon Punch (#162888). I added some Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots (#159082) and a double bow from Linen Thread (#104199).

Please hop around and leave a comment to let us know what you think of our cards!

Monday Mystery Stamping – 12/11/23

Vertical gift bag, called the 2, 5, 7, 10 box. Take an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of card stock and you can stamp an all-over design now or after you score. As the name implies, score the card stock at 2″, 5″, 7″, and 10″ on the 11″ side. Rotate it 90 degrees and sore at 2″ and 7″. see the picture below for reference.

The dashed lines are score lines, the solid lines are cut lines. Cut off the 3 pieces with the x in them. Cut on the lines on the 1-1/2″ tall pieces at the bottom. Note where the front panel is located and the flap on the back side that will come to the front. If you have not stamped yet, stamp before assembling the box.

Add a strong double-sided tape as shown. Before adhering the box, at the top on the two 2″ sides, score from the top down about 1-1/2″ – 2″. This will help pinch the sides at the top. Punch two holes in the flap, pretty high up from the edge. If you like, round the corners of the flap or use decorative scissors on it. Close the flap, and mark the holes on the base through the holes in the flap. Cut about 15″ of ribbon to tie it together. Overlap the back and front bottom flaps over the two side flaps and use strong adhesive to seal.

Stamping Stray Ducklings – Last Chance Products!

Welcome to our December Blog Waddle! We are featuring projects created from some of the products on the Last Chance Sale list. I love the Joy of Noel Bundle (#161967)! You can still buy it at the bundled savings while supplies last. Here is a close up of the details of my card.

I began with a Very Vanilla base and die cut the letters in Gold Foil (#132622) using the Joy of Noel Dies (#161965). Using a scrap of Very Vanilla, I stamped the cluster image from the Joy of Noel stamp set (#161959) in Shaded Spruce. I love how that image does the arranging for you!

Next, I colored the image with Stampin’ Blends in light and dark Shaded Spruce, light and dark Old Olive, and Real Red. Using Shaded Spruce I cut the pine boughs. Then I colored 3 Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels (#158987) with a dark Real Red Blend.

A bow from the Real Red and Garden Green 3/8″ Ribbon Combo Pack completes my card!

Stamping Stray Ducklings – Designer Series Paper!

Welcome to our November Blog Waddle! We are featuring our wonderfully, always coordinated Designer Series Paper, also known as DSP!!

I picked the Oh Holy Night 12″ x 12″ DSP (#161986). This gorgeous Designer Series Paper pairs so beautifully with Night Divine Bundle (#161997) and the Stars at Night Bundle (#162007) to create a wide variety of Christmas cards. Here is a preview of my card.

My card base is Very Vanilla with a layer of the DSP cut from the bottom of the piece. The stable and camel were cut from Pecan Pie, the Holy family in Basic Black, and the animals from Basic Gray using the Night Divine Dies (#161996). The star was die cut using the Stars at Night Hybrid Embossing Folder (162006).

The front is so beautiful, I put the sentiment in side using .
