Stampin Stray Ducklings’ Blog Waddle

Welcome to the Stampin Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle for October! This month we are featuring Fall/Thanksgiving cards. You may have arrived here from Nancy Legate’s blog.  Following me is Kim Baker’s blog. Let us know what you think of our projects!

I created my card using the Painted Harvest photopolymer stamp set (#144783) and the Crackle Paint cling stamp (#148752). I chose this set because of the sentiment!

The card base is a 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Poppy Parade. The next layer up is Very Vanilla stamped in Early Espresso with the Crackle Paint stamp. Next is a layer of Early Espresso to set off the focal point layer.
The flowers were stamped in Poppy Parade with Early Espresso centers. The leaves are stamped in Garden Green and there are Crushed Curry dots to finish the background. The lovely sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla and tied with a bit of knotted Poppy Parade 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon (#147813).
