Fifteen current colors are being retired, a few favorites are returning, and several new colors are joining our color families! I love that Stampin’ Up! stays in tune with current color trends! The new colors are: Copper Clay, Boho Blue, Moody Mauve, Pebbled Path, and Wild Wheat! Which is your favorite?

Monday Mystery Stamping – 4/3/23

Here are the starburst/sunburst cards we made tonight!

Horizontal (Landscape) Card:
– Card stock base: 8½ x 5½
– Complimentary card stock: 3¼ x 5¼
– White or Vanilla: 3 x 5
DSP, should be an overall design with no direction to it
– 4 pieces (2 each of 2 designs): 1½ x 4¼
– One coordinating die cut or stamped image
– White or Vanilla 4 x 5¼

Cut the 4 rectangles from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. Mark the center of the 3×5 piece at the top and bottom on the 5″ side, at 2½”. Align the first piece of DSP along the line created by those 2 marks, with the point at the bottom and just barely over the edge of the piece. Add the rest of the DSP, alternating patterns. To complete the starburst, trim off all excess pieces around the card and use scraps to fill in the remainder of the rays. Add this to the complimentary layer, add it to the top of your card base. Add a die cut or stamped image and sentiment.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – My Favorite Bundle!

Welcome to our March Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator has created projects featuring their favorite bundle! Below my card is a list of links to all of the participating bloggers.

My card features the Brewed For You Bundle (#159093)! It is one of the first bundles I bought from this annual catalog. The card base is Early Espresso with a layer of He’s The Man DSP (#159068). I added a 2″ strip and a 1″ strip from the same DSP pack. The beer glasses and jug were stamped in Memento Black on Very Vanilla. Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry filled them up! The glasses sit on an oval of Early Espresso punched with the Double Oval Punch (#154242). The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso on a scrap of Very Vanilla and the end punched with the Banners Pick a Punch (#153608). Three gold Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots (#156506) complete my card.
