Stampin Stray Ducklings October Thankful Blog Waddle!

Welcome to our monthly Blog Waddle! This month we are featuring Thank you or Thanksgiving projects. You may have arrived here from Lori Helvick’s blog.  Following me is Kim Baker’s blog. Which is your favorite?

I love to make Thanksgiving cards. It is important to me to tell people how very special they are to me and how thankful I am to have them in my life. I chose the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle (#156478)! It contains the Pretty Pumpkins cling stamp set (#156472) and the coordinating Detailed Pumpkins Dies (#156477). Purchasing the bundle saves you 10%!

I used a Cajun Craze card base with a layer of Bumblebee. Next are two pieces of Harvest Meadow 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (#156494). A piece of Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace (#149593) was tied around the BumbleBee and DSP layer). The large pumpkin was stamped in Crumb Cake and the trio of pumpkins in Soft Suede. Stampin Blends added some color and highlights to all of them. The largest pumpkin was die-cut from the copper sheet in the Brushed Metallic Cardstock (#153524) package. The message was stamped in Cajun Craze on Basic White.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Happy Birthday!

Welcome to our September Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world! Each demonstrator is featuring projects for birthdays!

You may have arrived here from Julia’s blog. She had a wonderful project! I chose the new Welcoming Woods stamp set (#156550) for my birthday card. The card base is Basic White. I took another piece of Basic White and used the fabulous Blending Brushes (#153611) to add 4 colors of ink to create the background. Then I stamped the trees and leaves in Early Espresso. I stamped the sentiment from Pansy Patch (#154999) in Early Espresso and cut the layer into 4 pieces and adhered to the base. A nice quick card great for upcoming fall birthdays!
