July Paper Pumpkin

Celebrate the magic of summer nights with the Summer Nights Paper Pumpkin Kit! In this exclusive fun-filled kit, you’ll unbox enough supplies to create nine postcard-style cards, coordinating envelopes, and die-cut tealight bags. The Summer Nights Add-On includes 24 card bases and envelopes in coordinating Summer Nights designs. This add-on is perfect for helping you expand the Summer Nights creative experience beyond the Paper Pumpkin kit. Stampin Stray Ducklings' June Blog Waddle

Welcome to the June Stampin Stray Ducklings’ Blog Waddle! This month we are featuring cards created with exciting new products from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. You may have arrived here from Nancy Legate’s blog.  Following me is Kim Baker’s blog. Let us know what you think of our projects!

I created my card using the World Map Dies (#152712) from the Beautiful World Bundle (#154091). The card base is Basic Black with a layer of Misty Moonlight, one of the new In-Colors for 2020-2022. Another layer of Basic Black and a piece of World of Good Speciality Designer Series Paper (#152491). The globe is popped up with a Stampin’ Dimensional and backed with Misty Moonlight. The “happy birthday” sentiment is from the A Wish for Everything (#149320) cling stamp set. It is stamped in Basic Black on a piece of Misty Moonlight layered on a circle of Basic Black. Both circles are cut with dies, one from the Word Map Dies and the other from Layering Circles Dies (#151770). I completed my card with 3 Gold Metallic Pearls (#146282). This is going to be hubby’s birthday card in a couple of weeks!

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Thinking of You!

Welcome to our May Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe! Our theme this month is Thinking of You, for the men in your life. You may have arrived from Tracy’s blog. She had a fabulous project! I chose the Rooted in Nature stamp set (#148217) and paper from 2 different Designer Series Papers. They are Bird Ballad (#149592) and Pressed Petals (#149500), both from the Annual Catalog

The card base is Mossy Meadow. I pieced the 4 pieces of DSP on the front of the card and then used two circle dies for the Very Vanilla sentiment and Old Olive layered pieces. I will reveal the dimensions of the paper pieces after an upcoming Mystery Stamping free online event. The sentiment is stamped in Mossy Meadow and the leaves are stamped off in Pear Pizazz. A piece of Linen Thread (#104199) behind the circles completes the card.

The insert inside the card has a column of leaves stamped in Pear Pizazz!
