Stampin Stray Ducklings January Blog Waddle

Welcome to our monthly Blog Waddle and the first one of 2021! This month we are featuring projects from the new Sale-A-Bration (SAB) flyer or January – June Mini-Catalog. You may have arrived here from Nancy Legate’s blog.  Following me is Kim Baker’s blog. Let us know what you think of these fantastic cards!

I love Designer Series Paper (DSP)! My name is Sue and I am a DSP addict. The two DSP packages offered in the SAB flyer convinced me to place my pre-order right before Christmas! Featured on my card is the Flower & Field DSP (155223). My card base is Basic Black. The layering panel is Rococo Rose 5-1/4″ x 4″. I cut the top piece of DSP with the Curvy Dies (#154319). Then I put that piece right-side to the wrong-side of the bottom piece of DSP, traced the curve with a pen and hand-cut it. This ensured the curve on my lower piece of DSP matched the top exactly. Finished the card with Basic Black and Rococo Rose Stitched Shapes Dies (#152323 Ovals and the sentiment from . A bit of White Twine from the Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack (# ) for a bow and it is complete.

I think a White Stampin Chalk Marker (#132133) would look great on Basic Black for the sentiment or Whisper White Ink (#147277). The Happy Birthday sentiment on my card is from Here’s A Card (#149438).
