Stampin Stray Ducklings April Blog Waddle

Welcome to our monthly Blog Waddle! This month we are featuring projects for Mother’s Day and Spring. I decided to make a birthday card, but the sentiment can easily be for a different occasion. You may have arrived here from Kim Baker’s blog. Following me is Lori Helvick’s blog. Let each of us know what you think of these fantastic cards!

I started my card with a Blusing Bride base and layered a piece of In Good Taste DSP (#152494) on the base. Next, I ran a piece of Very Vanilla through my Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (#150673) using one of the Greenery Embossing Folders (#152716) and layered it on a scrap of Blushing Bride punched with the Triple Banner Punch (#138292). Next I added a Gold Hoop Embellishment (#152474) and the stamped pieces from the Forever Greenery stamp set (#152599). It is a part of the Forever Fern Bundle (#154094). Then I die cut pieces of Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride and gold foil using the Forever Flourishing Dies (#152714). I stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Wishes stamp set (#149346) in Blushing Bride on a piece of Very Vanilla, die cut with the Stitched Shapes Dies (#152323) circle. I added a Gilded Gem (#152478) and finished the card with a bow of Gold 3/8″ Metallic Edged Ribbon (#144146).

I am most intrigued with creating clusters of embellishments for cards and scrapbook pages. Have you tried to create any clusters?
